Carbon–carbon composite (CFC) combines carbon fiber reinforcement with a carbon matrix to offer unmatched strength-to-weight ratio, elevated thermal stability (up to ~3000 °C), and superior wear and oxidation resistance. This high-performance composite maintains structural integrity under extreme thermal cycling, exceeding capabilities of monolithic graphite materials
