Role Overview
The Principal Research Scientist (Carbon / Graphite) is a senior technical role responsible for leading advanced research on graphite and carbon materials that directly support Max Graphite’s high-performance products and long-term technology roadmap.
This role emphasizes industrial, application-driven research, with clear impact on real products and customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced research on graphite and carbon materials, including isostatic graphite and specialty carbon
- Investigate structure–property relationships (grain size, isotropy, porosity, thermal and electrical behavior)
- Design and interpret experiments related to high-temperature performance, oxidation, corrosion, thermal shock, and mechanical stability
- Apply advanced characterization techniques (SEM, Raman, XRD, BET, thermal analysis)
- Translate research outcomes into manufacturable product and process improvements
- Provide senior technical support to engineering teams and key customers
- Author internal technical reports, white papers, and IP disclosures

- 系统研究材料微观结构与性能关系
- 开展高温性能、抗氧化、抗腐蚀、热震及力学稳定性研究
- 使用 SEM、拉曼、XRD、BET、热分析等表征手段

- 为工程团队和重点客户提供高级技术支持
- 撰写技术报告、白皮书及知识产权文件
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
- 8+ years of research experience in graphite, carbon, or high-temperature materials
- Strong experimental design and data analysis skills
- Industrial R&D experience strongly preferred
